Trough Training Idler Frame
When it comes to the problem of belt misalignment, alongside the use of Guide Rollers and Self-Aligning Tracking Rollers, Training Idler Frames are also used.
Technical Specifications of our Trough Training Idler Frames
The causes of belt misalignment can be varied and range from poorly aligned Conveyor Idler Frames to material build-up on Conveyor Rollers or Pulleys, through to the effect of strong gusts of wind on the belt.
Training Idler Frames are used in both the upper belt and the lower belt (see Training Idler Frame for the lower strand). The construction of these Training Idler Frames is quite elaborate, as both Conveyor Rollers Type 15207 and Guide Rollers are used.
The principle, however, is always the same – the complete unit is mounted on a pivoting frame, so that the Conveyor Roller set swivels in the direction of the belt misalignment. This results in an inclined position and thus a counterforce that pushes the misaligned belt back into position.
