Our Slag Binder SPORLIT is specially developed to quickly and reliably bind and coagulate liquid slag on molten metal. This allows the slag to be separated cleanly and without residue from the molten metal below. This protects the refractory lining of the furnaces and ladles and ensures significantly higher purity of the casting.

For flawless microstructure formation and to avoid shrinkage cavities, we offer custom-built components for Solidification Control. These include highly thermally conductive SiC Cooling Plates and mouldable SiC Cooling Compounds, which enable targeted, accelerated heat dissipation at critical points, as well as durable Graphite Moulds for demanding geometries.

Our Foam Ceramic Filters and refractory Casting Filters highly efficiently remove non-metallic inclusions and impurities directly from the melt during the casting process. They also calm the flow of the molten metal. This drastically reduces the reject rate in production and guarantees cast components that meet the highest quality and safety standards.
